An Improved HHS Greenhouse

This year, the HHS Environmental Club has decided to revamp one of the most underused spots on campus: the greenhouse. Located outside the Cafe doors, the greenhouse once teemed with plants, but has since grown more weeds than vegetables. With a new focus on locally-sourced produce and environmental impact, the greenhouse is a way for Hanover to become more sustainable and increase accessibility to fresh and healthy food. The Cafe has also agreed to partner with Enviro by using what is grown in the greenhouse in its food . It will be a little while before the plants in the greenhouse are ready to eat, but the Enviro greenhouse committee is excited to see what will grow and see it used at the Cafe.
