We Are the Champions? (Video)
The Hanover Boys Soccer team lost their semi-final game at Stella Stadium in Nashua on November 2015 during penalty kicks which ended up costing them the game and a chance at winning the Division 1 championship. This would have been their first championship since 2013. It was a heartbreaking loss, but the Hanover boys plan on having a comeback season next year and hope to win the championship. This is definitely a possibility considering that only 11 of the 25 players on the varsity team were seniors.
On a happier note, the Hanover Girls Soccer team not only won their semi-final game, but also won their championship game. This is their second year in a row of being the division 2 NH champions. They won this game on Sunday, November 8th, 2015. Next year, they also have a great chance at winning for a third year in a row considering only 9 of the 22 varsity girls were seniors. If this happens they would be the first Division 2 team that has won three championships in a row since 2000.
