Footnotes in France

From the blog, posted en route by Patty Armstrong: “Words and photos cannot express the emotions felt by all when the group sang their first note in Pontigny today.  The acoustics were beyond anything imaginable — the students will have to describe personally their awe and joy at the sound they produced.  When you hear the recordings you’ll understand. Vézelay and the Grottes d’Arcy offered similar experiences of vocal magnificence.”

Below are just a few of the splendid photos on of this extraordinary trip, For videos and more photos, go to www.joigny2013.blogspot.com.
