Council Report

The Hanover High School Council has had an amazing year! We have had some incredible accomplishments, including: finally getting clocks in the locker rooms and the implementation of two pilot programs next year. The first pilot program is for Restorative Justice; this program is being created by the Curriculum Committee on council in order to help offenders of school policy make amends with their actions. The second pilot program will be the direct election of Judiciary Committee (JCOMM) members. We are very proud of the work that we’ve accomplished this year, and I have the utmost confidence in the Council for 2013-2014, headed by the leadership of Eleanor Patten as Moderator, Elizabeth Sachsse as Assistant Moderator, Jeffrey Li as Treasurer, Grace Croitoru as Secretary, Kelsey Smith as the Dresden School Board Representative, and Catherine Collison as the Public Relations Person (my successor!).
