Dresden School Board Update for January-March

After several months of discussion and debate, the budget for the Dresden School District is proposed at roughly $24.6 million in expenditures. This is a 2.2% increase compared to the budget for 2014-15. Additionally, $44,000 in athletic expenses has been budgeted for 2015-16 since swimming and crew will be funded by the district.

Head coaches have been approved for the upcoming spring athletic season. The positions include Julie Stevenson for Crew, Jarrod Shaheen for Boys’ Tennis, and Chris Seibel for Girls’ Lacrosse.
